LIGRA helps it's members in a myriad of ways and we have outlined below some very important reasons to become a LIGRA member.

• A Legal Plan that makes an Attorney available, to you, in all matters that affect your station
  or repair shop, including free representation before the Department of Motor Vehicles when you are cited for an infraction.

• LIGRA maintains a full-time staff at LIGRA Headquarters, available to service our membership, five (5) days a week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. LIGRA also maintains an answering system that is monitored at all times when the office is closed, in case of an emergency at your station or repair shop.

• LIGRA publishes a monthly Bulletin that is full of updated Industry news, so that you can
  be informed of every development that will and does affect your business.

• LIGRA employs three (3) Field Representatives, who are constantly in the field, meeting
  with and assisting members with problems. Each Field Representative is equipped with a telephone beeper and is just a telephone call away when a problem arises. (Some problems that they can help you with are licensing questions, problems with your Sales Rep., or generally anything that causes you a problem with respect to your station or repair shop.)

• LIGRA has a Board of Directors, made up of service station dealers and repair shop
  owners, just like yourself. They are just a telephone call away if you want to talk to another dealer or owner about a problem that you might have, concerning your business.

• LIGRA sponsors clinics and other educational seminars throughout the year in order to
  help mechanics increase their educational skills, as new and highly technological changes are introduced into our Industry. Such clinics touch on the subjects of how to conduct a proper inspection, the latest techniques in air conditioning repair, brake repair, computer command analysis, rack and pinion steering and the like...LIGRA stresses the importance
  of education because of the changing nature of the industry.
